William Charles Sims, age 88 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Ridgeview Health Services.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church, funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Teddy Jones will officiate.
Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his Parents-Bert and Elsie Sims; Wife-Yvonne Jackson Sims; Sister-Glenda Sims Justice; Son-William Charles Sims Jr.; Son-in-law-Nathan Rice Key; Grandaughter-Maggie Yvonne Key Ballard; Host of Nieces and Nephews.
He is survived by his Daughter-Alanda Charlene Sims Key; Grandson-Ramses Grayson Key(Victoria Frith Key).
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Westside Baptist Church Food Pantry(1101 22nd St. W, Jasper, AL 35501) or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
