Rev. William Carles Putman, age 93 of Boaz, died Tuesday May 24, 2022, at Shepherds Cove Hospice.
His funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2022 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Walls Chapel Memory Gardens. Rev. Bill Lackey and Rev. J. L. Knight will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be David Putman, Josh Dingler, Richard Jeffers, Taylor Putman, Jacob Putman and Kyle Nelson. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 before the service.
Survivors include; Son Milton Putman (Donna), Daughter Linda Dingler (Jimmy),
Adopted Daughters, Vickie Putman and Sabrina Montes De Oca (Manuel),
Grandchildren Cheryl Putman, Carrye Pope (Steve), David Putman (Angie), Jennifer Blevins (Jeff), Josh Dingler, Richard Jeffers (Tricia), Tara Medley, and Melanie Montes De Oca, 17 Great Grandchildren, 14 Great -Great Grandchildren,
Host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, and two brothers C.B. Wilmore (Arlene) and Benny Wilmore.
He is preceded in death by: wife; Dorothy Sue Putman, Mother Willie Mae Willmore, Brother Mackey Wilmore, and Sister Lettie Norberg.
