William Campbell “Billy” Dean – Obituary

William Campbell “Billy” Dean of Minor Hill passed away on February 19, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center. He was born in Wales, TN on September 13, 1939 and was 78 years old.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Billy was a man of very few words. He always said you learn more by listening than talking. He was humble and kind and respected everyone. He invested his time in his grandchildren and serving God. He loved playing and watching sports and was a huge Tennessee Volunteer fan.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 22nd from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral service will take place on Friday, February 23rd at 1:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home with Bro Roger Reedy and Bro. Mark Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Memorial donations are asked to go to the Giles County Humane Association c/o P.O. Box 237 Pulaski, TN 38478 or to the Southern Girls Pound Rescue c/o 366 Garner Hollow Rd, Pulaski, TN 38478.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward and Virginia Inez Kimbrough Dean and brother, Bobby Dean.

He is survived by his,
Wife of 57 years, Linda Jo Dean of Minor Hill
Daughter, Kim (Gary) Carter of Minor Hill
Daughter, Kelly (Richard) Taylor of Cornersville
Grandson, Wes (Kellie) Carter of Knoxville
Granddaughters, Jillian Carter and Adleigh Kate of Pulaski
Grandson, Whit Carter of Los Angeles, CA
Sister, Carolyn (Ed) Janes of Pulaski
Sister, Diane Rogers of Pulaski
Brother, Steve (Debbie) Dean of Alabama
Numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends also survive.

Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for William Campbell “Billy” Dean.
