Graveside Services for Mr. William Byron Hull Sr., age 84 of John’s Island, South Carolina, will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Lineville City Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Thomas Reeves Smith officiating.
William Byron Hull, formerly of Greensboro, Georgia, passed away in Charleston, South Carolina on October 19th, 2024. He was born in Anniston, Alabama and grew up in Lineville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Byron Hull and Kathryn Carpenter Hull, both of Lineville. Bill graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Management and served in the US Navy as a Lieutenant aboard the USS Randolph aircraft carrier during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He started his railroad career with Southern Railway which later became Norfolk Southern.
Mr. Hull is survived by his wife of 58 years, Louise Hull; two children: Bill Hull Jr. (Tracy) and Wyndy Carnell (Clint), both of Kiawah Island, South Carolina; four adored grandchildren: Kathryn Hull, Brett Hull, Andi Carnell, and Keegan Carnell.
