William Burton Harris, 90, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born October 28, 1934, in Itawamba County, to William Harlon and Erma Hiden Harris. He was a member of the East Fulton Baptist Church. He retired from the Fulton Telephone Company after many years of service. He enjoyed wood working, collecting knives, and hunting and fishing. He was an avid reader.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Jones and Bro. Terry Paul Graham officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors include his of 70 years, Joyce Harris; two daughters, Melissa Harris of Fulton and Tina Wynn (Jeff) of Holly Pond, AL; two grandsons, William Brandon Wynn and Justin Tyler Wynn, both of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Annette Maysak of Illinois.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jennie Moore and Evelyn Moore; and his parents.
Pallbearers will be Mike Todd, Gary Wallace, Mackey Thornton, and Shane Dulaney.
Visitation will be Wednesday from noon until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
