William “Billy” Robert Longshore, Jr., beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and friend, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 8, 2016. He was born to Bettye C Longshore and William Robert Longshore on October 28, 1949. He was married for 44 years to his beloved wife, JoAnn Longshore.
Left to cherish his memory are his three children and their spouses: Lorie Longshore, Trudi Vogt, Sarah Longshore, Joel Hayes, Beth Longshore, and Ronnie Bunner. Also four grandchildren: Sydney Bunner, Payton Bunner, Chance Vogt, and Easton Vogt.
Visitation with the family will begin at 1 PM CST, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, Huntsville, Alabama 35805. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM CST with Pastor Dr. Alan Weatherly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation of your choice be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
