William “Bill” Pride Carmack, age 77, passed away on April 30, 2015, in Warren, Michigan. He was born Nov. 11, 1937, in Tuscumbia, Alabama. He enjoyed bowling, bingo, and going to the horse races.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce, and his children, Pamela, Derrick, Shawn, and Jason. He was the stepfather to Sherry, Rhonda, and Frankie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was the brother of Charles (Mary) Carmack, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Kenneth and Joe Carmack, of Michigan, Bennie Carmack, of California, Melvin Carmack, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Carolyn (David) Myers, of Florence, Alabama, Rebecca (Dale) Swafford, of Michigan, and Dorothy (Jerry) Henson, of Toney, Alabama, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Edna Carmack, and siblings, Catherine Robinson and Linda Carmack. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a funeral service at 7 p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes, Clinton Township, MI 48038. Burial will be at Guy Cemetery in Colbert County, Alabama, May 21, 2015, at 1 p.m.
