William “Bill” Price Cromeans, 89, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, at the Mississippi Veteran’s Home in Oxford, MS. He was born August 17, 1933 to the late Charles “Stuck” Arnold Cromeans and the late Alcie Brazil Cromeans. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He loved listening to and singing Bluegrass Gospel music. He enjoyed watching Westerns and wrestling. He also enjoyed fishing and bowling.
Services will be 1:00 pm on Friday June 2, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday June 1, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include his children: Betty Sue (Webster) Graham of Booneville, Nel (Premo) Ames of Moncks Corner, SC, Tom (Sharon) Cromeans of Lake Villa, IL, Willie (Victoria) Cromeans, Jr. of Fairview; grandchildren: Brett (Kelli) Cromeans, Brad Cromeans, Heather (Johnny) Greer, Harry “JR” (Christina) Baynes, Tim (Mary) Baynes, Premitivo Ames, II, Allen (Connie) Ames, Josh (Meagan) Senter, Katelyn (Jake) Mitchell, Maggie Graham, Shannon Cromeans, Shain Cromeans, Ashley (Lucas) Worthy, Lynnsy (Brent) Kalmon; 21 Great Grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchilren; sisters: Helen Vinson, Betty Lou (Wes) Sufficool; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Quinell “Nell” Cromeans; brothers: Eugene Cromeans, Arnold Cromeans, Jr., sisters: Peggy Ella Quay Cromeans, Pernie M. Shields, JoAnn Smith
Pallbearers will be Harry “JR” Baynes, Tim Baynes, Josh Senter, Shain Cromeans, Shain Fowler, William Vinson
