William “Bill” Pietri, age 75, of Rogersville, died Friday, April 5, 2013.
Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. Monday at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow immediately in the chapel, with Brandon Rainey officiating. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday (Eastern time zone) in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery, Fort Mitchell, Ala., with military honors.
Mr. Pietri was preceded in death by his son, Fred Pietri, and sister, Helen Pietri.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Pietri; children, Teresa Willyard, Billy Pietri, Wendy (Rick) Haywood, Charlie (Donna) Pietri, Melanie (Floyd) Harris, Mike Pietri and Bruce (Sarah) Pietri; nephew, Lawrence Dickerson; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and sister, Elsie Kristiansen.
Bill will be remembered for his boundless and unconditional devotion to his loving wife, Jane; the strength of his love for all of his family was matched only by his passionate faith in God. He will be dearly missed and remembered fondly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Rogersville.
