William “Bill” McIntyre, age 90, of Southside, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Bill was born to William Sr. and Cora Irene McIntyre in 1933. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dottie McIntyre; two daughters, Tammy (Steven) Gillette and Debbie (John) Hallmark. Bill is survived by his grandchildren, Matthew Leach, Christopher Gillette, Jonathan Gillette, Zachary Hallmark and Holly Hallmark. Bill is also survived by his 8 great grandchildren. Bill was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Southside. He proudly served his country for 28 years in the United States Marine Corps as well as the United States Air Force. Bill owned his own HVAC company and had a passion for helping those in need.
A visitation for Bill will be held Monday, January 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Collier-Butler Funeral & Cremation Services, 824 Rainbow Drive, P.O. Box 460, Gadsden, Alabama 35901, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.
