William Faulkner Coleman William “Bill” Faulkner Coleman, age 63 of Nashville, Tennessee died Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was a native of Smyrna, Tennessee and was a son of the late Sam Barnes Coleman, Sr., and Peggy Faulkner Coleman.

Survivors include his wife Lisa Hanna Coleman; brother, Sam Barnes Coleman, Jr., and wife Nancy; sister, Beth Coleman and husband Roy Baudoin; nephews, Sam Barnes Coleman, III and fiancé Sloane Boozer, Kyle Hanna; nieces, Caroline Coleman and Kristen Hanna; mother-in-law, Joyce Hanna; brothers in law, Michael Hanna and Kevin Hanna and wife Michelle; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Bill was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and worked at First National Bank and later, Cavalry Bank. Most recently he was a local residential home builder and developer.

Bill’s commitment to his family and friends was the most important part of his life. As a home builder, he valued the relationships he had with his subcontractors and homeowners. He was always compassionate towards his fellow man and seemed to have never met a stranger.

A private family graveside service will be held with Sam Barnes Coleman, Jr., Sam Barnes Coleman, III, Kevin Hanna, Kyle Hanna, Ronald S. Patterson, Luke Patterson, Steve Parham, Josh McCollum, Roy Baudoin, and Jack Buchanan serving as pallbearers.
