William “Bill” Eulcid Doss, age 94, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away Friday, June 13, 2014. Visitation will be Sunday, June 15, 2014 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville. Funeral service and burial will be held in Umitila, Florida.
He served in the U.S. Navy, was a member of the Alabama State Singing Group, a member of Haleyville Senior Center and attended New Hope Methodist church in the Oak Grove Community.
Mr. Doss is survived by his children, John L. Doss, George L. Doss, Don C. McKernan-Doss and Daniel Doss; brother, Calvin Coolidge Doss; grandchildren, Brian Doss, Sheri Doss, Stacy Doss Scottino, Kari J. Doss Clagett, Juli L. Doss Lucas, Alisha Doss Fagan; and great grandchildren, Connor Claggett, Kennedy Fagan, Kendan Fagan and Alex Scottino.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl Doss; wife, Faye Marie Doss; several brothers and sisters; and grandchildren, Michael Wayne Doss and Sonja Leigh Doss.
