William “Bill” Edward Grace was born August 26, 1940 to William Franklin and Edna Davis Grace in Albia, Iowa. Bill went to be with the Lord February 26, 2023 at his home in Jackson, TN.
He had various hobbies throughout his life and enjoyed restoring and customizing motorcycles, vintage cars and trucks, and various antiques. He shared his skills and talents with others and was always willing to help solve a problem with creative thinking. Bill had a playful sense of humor and got a kick out of spreading joy through his never-ending collection of jokes. As a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather he enjoyed doing projects and spending time with his family. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church and a friend to many. Specialist Private William E. Grace served in the Army as a tank crewman from 1963 to 1965. He retired from US Equipment in Los Angeles, CA where he worked as an air compressor technician for over 30 years. He and his wife, Nina, were married on July 15, 1967 and spent 55 wonderful years together.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by 2 sisters Joyce Faletti and Sandy Jones, 1 brother, Joe Grace, and 1 nephew, Daniel Faletti.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Nina Mae Grace; his 2 daughters, Linnetta Eliza Maharrey, her husband Robert Dean Maharrey, and Monique Renee Fowlkes, her husband Joshua Duncan Fowlkes; his 9 grandchildren, Breanna Sanchez, Andrew Harton, his wife Kaitlyn Harton, Courtney Harton, Victoria Everett, and Kaylee Everett; Robert Maharrey Jr., his wife Jodie Maharrey, Jeff Maharrey, Katlyn Maharrey, and Abigail Maharrey; 5 great-grandchildren, and 5 nieces.
A the memorial service for William will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Meridian Baptist Church 161 Harts Bridge Rd, Jackson, TN 38301
