Graveside service for Mr. William (Bill) Cooper West, age 90, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted Friday, May 14, 2021 at 1:30 PM with Brother Stanley Stevenson and Brother Andy Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in Wright’s Cemetery beside his wife Mary Stevenson West.
Mr. West was born on November 26, 1930 in Lincoln County, TN to the late James Robert West, Sr. and Jewel Johnson West. He was a member of the West Fayetteville Church of Christ. He worked as a manufacturing engineer for Teledyne in Lewisburg.
Survivors include his brother Bobby West and his wife Rita of Petersburg; sister, Jane Quick and Ruth Goatz, both of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Lauren West Lambert; grandson, Matt West; great grandson, West Nelson Lambert and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as his son, Larry West and sister, Joann Porter.
Visitation with the family will be from 11 AM – 1 PM on May 14, 2021 at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to International Gospel Hour at P.O. Box 118, Fayetteville, TN 37334.
