William “Bill” Black passed away at his home on Friday, July26, 2024, at the age of 83. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Irene Black.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Barbara Black; children, Christy Russell (Dale), Barry Black (Michelle), Eric Black (Amy), Carrie Ann Dobbyn (Michael), Todd Black (Kathy), Trey Black (Len); 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Liz Wendelken and Sue Watson (JB).
Visitation for Bill will be Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 9am-11am with service to follow at 11am, in the chapel at Sellars Funeral Home of Mt. Juliet. Interment will be Friday, August 2, 2024 at 11am at Middle Tennessee Veteran Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane, Nashville , TN 37221
