William B. “Willie” Williams, 85 of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2021 at North Alabama Specialty Hospital. Mr. Williams was born on July 12th, 1935 to Ed Williams and Emma Bergania Sills Williams.
Mr. Williams is survived by his children Brenda Bennett of Athens, AL, Wilma Asherbranner (Phillip) of Foley, AL; son-in-law Randy Campbell of Athens, AL; grandchildren Bryan Campbell (Amanda), Ashley Clark (Greg), Chase Bennett, Marcus Campbell (LuLu); great grandchildren Nikki, Casper, Story, Brynn, Shiloh, Madden, Ethan, Nora Belle; and extended family.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Glennis Williams, and daughter Patricia Campbell.
Funeral Services for Mr. Williams will be Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at 11:00 am at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Eddie Littrell, and Chase Bennett officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:50 am at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bryan Campbell, Chase Bennett, Marcus Campbell, Greg Clark, Justin Adams, and Christopher Sutton.
Mr. Williams was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 48, a member of Sardis Springs Church of Christ, and a proud and supportive grandfather and great grandfather.
