Bro. William A. “Willie” Wimbs, 85, died March 14, 2025 at Ocean Springs Hospital in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Born August 0, 1939, Bro. Wimbs was a Southern Baptist pastor in churches all across Mississippi but spent most of his ministry in Northeast Mississippi. He served several years as a missionary to Brazil. At his death, he was a member of First Baptist Church – Tupelo. He is survived by his three children, Katrina Crafton (Buddy) of Saltillo, Melinda Wimbs (Francisco) of Biloxi, and Terry Wimbs of Biloxi.
A Graveside service will be held at 11 AM next Saturday, March 22, 2025, at McNeil Cemetery near Saltillo. Holland Funeral Directors – Tupelo Chapel will announce further services and post a full obituary.
