Funeral for Willard Wayne Loosier, 81, of Town Creek will be Friday, March 22, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Brother James Anderton officiating. Burial will be in Old Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Loosier, who died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at VA Hospital in Birmingham, was born May 20, 1931, in Lawrence County to Franklin Marion Loosier and Edna Gertrude Thrasher Loosier. He was a veteran and a Christian.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline Thrasher Yarbrough Loosier; five sons, Jeff Loosier and wife, Dee Dee, of Rogersville, Bobby Loosier and wife, Melba, of Farmerville, La., David Loosier and wife, Jill, of Jamesville, Wis., Clinton Yarbrough and wife, Thalia, of Hatton and Rickey Yarbrough and wife, Jenell, of Muscle Shoals; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
