Willard Leon “Pete” Winborn, 67, of Florence, Ala., died Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 14, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Central Heights Community Cemetery. Wayne Wood will officiate.
Mr. Winborn was a native of Lauderdale County, Ala. He was employed with Darby Doors for 15 years and he was a member of the Hendrix Chapel Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Winborn and Ruby Wood, and his son, Michael Winborn, our loving baby.
Survivors are his wife, Connie Winborn; his son, Ricky Winborn (Nancy); a brother, Doug Winborn; sister, Martha Johnson; four grandchildren, Chandon and Chaton and Megan and Jacob; and three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Zoe, Blake, and Rylan.
