Willard Lee Pickard, age 95 of Bear Creek, Alabama passed away July 22, 2024. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War, was a member of the American Legion Donaldson Post 51 and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Phil Campbell, AL.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Ronnie Marbutt officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain Home Cemetery, Bear Creek.
Mr. Pickard is survived by his daughter, Vickie (James) Loden; sister, Ellen Sue (Ray) Foster; grandchildren, Erick (Jyl) Loden and Adam (Kaci) Loden; and great grandchildren, Joanna Loden, Bethany Loden and Grayson Loden.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Minnie Lee Pickard; wife, Perlie Pickard; brothers, Denver Pickard, J.D. Pickard, Russell Pickard and Wayne Pickard; and sisters, Melberta Bishop and Elnora Hyde.
