Willard Bruce Whitworth, age 78 of Townley, passed away 06/27/2023 at Grandview Medical Center. Bruce was born 10/27/1944 to the late Willard A. and Sarah Louise Freeman Whitworth. He proudly served his country in the Air Force from 1966 to 1970.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Whitmore.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Ferguson Whitworth; his children, Marie Beasley and her husband Chad, Ward Whitworth, Randy Whitworth and his wife Deb, and Bryan Whitworth and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Jaden Beasley, Hunter Whitworth, and Allen Whitworth; a brother, Joe N. Whitworth and his wife Sherry; a sister, Ronda Cook; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Bell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New Canaan Cemetery with Joel Carden officiating. Visitation will be Friday, at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00.
