Willadean Sanders of Arab died Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the age of 89. She was born November 2, 1933, in Marshall County to S.C. Royster and Ethel Voyles Royster. She was married to James V. Sanders for 53 years at the time of his death on October 26, 2001.
She is survived by her daughters Shirley Langston (Richard), Kay Harvell, Melinda Sanders, and Marsha Keahey. Grandchildren Blake Harvell, Bryan Harvell (Brooke), Hannah Smith (Rusty), and Haley Sanders. Great grandchildren, Dahlia Harvell, Bentley Atchley, Aubrey Smith, and Harlee Sanders. She was preceded in death by her husband James V. Sanders and son Roger Sanders. Sisters Opal Kelley and Nadean Smith. Brothers Albert Royster, Richard Royster, Grady Royster, and Walter Hilburn.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Brookwood Cemetery with Brother Greg Stone officiating, Gober Funeral Chapel directing. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2023, at Gober Funeral Chapel.
