Memorial Service for Mrs. Willadean Hilyer, age 80 of Wadley AL, will be held on Saturday October 7, 2023 at 4 PM ,Mount Gilead Community Church, County Rd. 79 Wadley Alabama.
Mrs. Willadean Hilyer passed away peacefully on Sunday October 1, 2023 at Clay County Hospital, with her family and love ones present. Mrs. Willadean was a resident of Wadley AL, were she spent time with her family. She was a long time member of Mount Gilead Community Church, she also work at Lineville Health and Rehab in housekeeping for many years. Mrs. Willadean loved cooking and taking care of her children and grandchildren. Mrs Willadean also had a great love for “Days of Our Lives”.
Mrs. Willadean is survived by her three sons; Greg Wright of Wadley, Jamie Hilyer ( Tania) of Ashland, Mike Wright (Wendy) Shinbone, grandchildren; Amanda Wright-Brown, Victoria Ragsdale, Kaleb Wright, Colten Hilyer, Mason Hilyer, Wesley Williamson, Alicia Meader, Brandy Cox, Kristie Wright, Ashley Jordan, Rusty Wright, nineteen great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild; one sister Joyce Forman ( Billy) New Site, AL.
She was preceded in death by her parents. John and Eunice Caldwell, and two husbands.
Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of arrangements.
