Ms. Willa Moffett Moore was born on December 25, 1944 in Madison County to the late Albert and Ruby Moffett. Eternal rest came on Sunday, September 29, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Moffett (1965) and her mother, Ruby Moffett (1963).
Her memories are left to be cherished by her loving family: sons: Gerald V. Moore and Jarvis D. Moore (LaTonya) both of Huntsville, Alabama; daughter, Tamara N. Moore-Powell of Huntsville, Alabama; five grandchildren: Jabrihl, Javarian, Jonathon, Alliyah, and Jasmine; two sisters: Bettye Poole (Byron), and Helen Walker; and a host of loved ones, including nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Valhalla Memory Gardens (698 Winchester Road, Huntsville, AL 35811) with Reverend Dr. Maurice Childress officiating. Entombment will be in the Valhalla Memory Gardens. Mrs. Moore will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
The Moore family will receive guests from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Royal Chapel of Memories.
