Wiley Franklin Gaugh Wiley Franklin Gaugh, 81, passed away Saturday morning, June 11, 2022, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis.

He was born Thursday, April 24, 1941, in Somerville, son of the late William Edward Gough and Sarah Eloise Morris Gaugh, living in Hardeman County for 25 years prior to moving to Collierville in 1993. He married Edna Clarice Umberger on November 29, 1968, and she preceded him in death on October 19, 2016. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver with Standard Construction for over 10 years and enjoyed watching baseball and rodeos, going to old tractor sales and spending time with his dog, “Rusty”. Mr. Gaugh was Baptist in faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Betty Gail Umberger Cox (James) of Gainesville, GA and Lillie Mae Umberger Wooten (Calvin) of Bartlett; two sons, Oliver Bryant Umberger (Gail) of Cordova and Ellis Parnell Umberger (Sandra) of Bolivar; a sister, Lucretia Willoughby of Somerville and a brother, William Edward Gaugh, Jr., of Somerville; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
