FLORENCE-Florence/Lauderdale Tourism will once again provide musical entertainment before its popular Swampette music tour on Saturday, June 6. Starting at 11 a.m., the Wildwood Ruminators will perform in the Gallery at the Florence/Lauderdale Visitor Center. The “mini-concert” is free and open to the public. The band will perform songs from their upcoming CD project, “Revelation.”
The June 6 version of the Swampette tour of area music venues will follow the Wildwood Ruminators’ performance, from noon to 4 p.m. The popular tour offers stops at FAME Studios, 3614 Jackson Highway and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. Led by Judy Hood, wife of the Swampers’ bass player David Hood, the tour travels to each venue aboard the “Trolley of Tunes.” Tour cost is $35 per person.
