ATHENS – It is understandable. When Holly Hollman called to give us the intel on the First Annual “Athens Grease Festival”, we didn’t notice anything with the spelling.
GREASE. We finally got it! A play on words, if you will. They had it all, those good folks of Athens. Fried everything. And just in case… There was a few spots where one could buy non-grease eats, too. And a First Aid Station.
The music was great at this second annual event. Lots of people turned out. And why not? The weather was superb just like everything else at this big street-party.
