Wesley Matthew Abernathy, age 31 of Fort Payne, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
He was born on May 8, 1993 in Fort Payne. He was self-employed as a Auto Detailer.
Funeral services will be 4 p.m., Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. hour of service.
He is survived by his children, Paizlee Kay Abernathy, Karson Wade Abernathy and Khloe Marie Grace Abernathy; mother, Aleshia Gonzalez (Angel Garcia); father, Luis Valencia; sisters, Darby Martinez (Henry), Selena Colon (Felix) and Celia Valencia; uncles, Rick Gledhill, Greg Gledhill and Steve West; nieces, Lanaya, Lailynn and Aaliyah; nephew, Ashton; and special family, Wade & Joyce Womack.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dallas & Jeanne West; uncle, Allen “Butch” Gledhill; and cousin, Allison Gledhill.
