Wesley Lee (Bubba) Kiser – Obituary

Mr. Wesley Lee (Bubba) Kiser died July 16, 2014, at home after a 3 year struggle with Cancer. He was married 53 years to Leslie Cox Kiser. He is survived by his wife, sons Wesley (Jeanne) Kiser (Florence), Jeffery Kiser (Douglasville, Georgia), daughter Jennifer (Dal) Ogle (Sheffield), sisters Rosemary Davis, Eleanor (Jimmy) Todd (Tuscumbia), Betty (David) Johnson and Grandchildren Rachel Ogle and Nathan Kiser. He was preceded in death by his father John Wesley Kiser, mother Lola Mae Kiser and brothers James Wesley Kiser, Herman Kiser and David Kiser. Mr. Kiser was born in Corinth, Mississippi and was a member of the Hook Street Baptist Church in Tuscumbia. He served in the Army, enjoyed helping to build Habitat homes and was a 32rd Degree Mason. He retired from the Ford Motor Company and was a retired Journeyman Electrician from the IBEW Corinth, Mississippi Local 852. Visitation will be at the Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, Alabama from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a service following at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 18th, 2014. Pallbearers will be Mike Thompson, Mike Semmes, Kenny Webb, David Paul Cox, Mark McLeary, Joe Johnson, Doug Malone and Steve Hatcher. The honorary pallbearers are Lewis Huguley, John Howell, James Woods, Jackie Bevis, and the Hook Street Baptist Men’s Sunday School Class. The Reverends T. A. Duke and Troy Fisher will be presiding. In lieu of flowers, well-wishers are asked to donate to their church or favorite charity.
