Wesley George Mitchell, 97, of Fayetteville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Donalson Care Center.
Mr. Mitchell has lived in the Lincoln County Community most of his life. He was a World War II Veteran. Retired from NiSource Electric and Gas in South Bend, Indiana. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and farming.
Mr. Mitchell is preceded in death by his parents, Grady Mitchell and Esther George Mitchell. His sister Glendon Stasaski. Brothers, Billie Dean Mitchell and James Mitchell. His first wife Dorothy Maddox Mitchell.
He is survived by his wife, Janie Mullins Mitchell, Stepson, James Mullins (Carman), Several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation held for Mr. Mitchell at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home on Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. A Chapel Service is scheduled immediately after visitation. Burial will follow at Blanche Cemetery. Bro. Derrick Moose will officiate the service.
