Wesley Caperton departed this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at the age of 85 years, 9 months, 16 days. He was born and raised in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 14, 1929, the son of the late Lonnie Elmer and Lantie Kathleen Rinks Caperton.
Wesley was a longtime employee of Chris Hill Construction in Memphis, Tennessee. He loved family gatherings and going to yard sales, and he was a member of Eureka Methodist Church.
He is survived by his sisters, Shelby Higgins and Pat Prince and her husband, Joe all of Savannah, Tennessee; he raised, David Copeland and David has 2 children, Neki Copeland and Wes Copeland both of Savannah, Tennessee; a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Cleo Burks Caperton and his 2nd wife, Lois Copeland Caperton; sisters, Lena Blount, Hautie Fielder, Louise Blount, Inez Caperton, and Barbara Easley; brothers, Elmer Jr. Caperton, Elbert Douglas Caperton and William Robert Caperton.
