It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Wendall (Doug) Dyer, 83, of Boldo, who went to his Heavenly home on December 27, 2024. Wendall was a faithful servant of God, whose unwavering faith and boundless love touched the hearts of all who knew him. As we grieve his departure, we also celebrate the remarkable legacy he leaves behind-a life dedicated to faith, family, and community.
Wendall was a devoted member of New Life Christian Assembly in Dora, Al. He was proceeded in death by his parents Lester and Pearl Dyer and several beloved brothers.
Wendall is survived by his wife of 64 years Sandra Dyer. His children Robert Dyer, Sharon Guthrie, and Terry Dyer (Lisa). Grandchildren Brandi Whitt-Ferguson (Tony), Candice Curtis (Jerry), Brandon Whitt, Chris Dyer (Rachel), Kayla Pair (Jacob), Sam Dyer (Hannah), and Blake Dyer. Eight great-grandchildren Savannah, Conner, Alexis, Ellie, Olivia, Scarlett, Zander, and Isabelle; One great-great grandchild Hudson.
