Webber Isbell, 91, of Marietta passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Oxford. He was born March 14, 1932 to Clarence and Esther Isbell. He served our nation as a United States Army medic in Germany from 1950 to 1953. He was a lifelong member of Siloam Methodist Church.
He is a graduate of New Site High School, Northeast Mississippi Community College, and he attended Mississippi State University.
A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 22, 2023 at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Riley officiating. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery.
He is survived by his sisters, Maxine Martin of New Site, Mississippi, Sue Rhoads of Warner Robins, Georgia, and Jane Martin of Indianapolis, Indiana; a special niece, Ann Warren (Kenneth) of Tupelo; and a special friend, Ruby Rorie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Melba Jean Isbell; and his sisters, Helen Nichols, Kathlene McDonald, and Faye Wagganer.
Pallbearers will be his nephews.
Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday, September 22, 2023 at McMillan Funeral Home.
