“WE LOVE MOMS!” BAKE SALE Benefiting Chloe’s Fund

FLORENCE-Let’s give Mom a break on Mother’s Day! It’s time to present her with a home baked confection made from the loving and appreciative hands of our Chloe’s Fund volunteer bakers; take your pick – Cookies, Cakes, Tarts, Pudding, Cupcakes and/or Bread. 100% of the money raised from the Bake Sale provides funds for emergency medical care for animals at Florence Lauderdale Animal Services. The Bake Sale is Saturday, May 13 from 10am to 1pm at Florence Lauderdale Animal Services, 3240 Roberson Rd, Florence, AL.  

Our volunteer bakers have become well known for their specialty items, everything is made fresh to order and quantities are limited. It’s best to preorder our menu items – you can find the menus on the following Facebook pages; Chloe’s Fund for Medical Needs of Florence Shelter Animals and Florence Lauderdale Animal Services. You can pick up your order on May 13 from 10am-1pm at Florence Lauderdale Animal Services, 3240 Roberson Rd, Florence. If you haven’t had a chance to pre-order, you can take your chances that our volunteers were inspired and baked more than ordered!

Chloe’s Fund was started in March of 2017 after shelter volunteers, Glen and Debby Nelson lost their beloved dog of 16 years, Chloe. After Chloe’s passing, the Nelsons set out on a mission to help as many sick and injured Florence Lauderdale Animal Services animals as possible. Since its inception, Chloe’s Fund vetted and saved the lives of countless numbers of animals suffering from various illnesses in need of medical attention.
