WC Comer

WC Comer, 81, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born August 1, 1941, in Tupelo, to William Chester and Eva Kelso Comer. In his early years, he worked at Ford Motor Company as a process engineer, designing tools for car designs. He retired after 30 years of service in the Itawamba County School District as an educator. He also farmed most all his life. He was a hard worker at anything he put his hands to do. He was a master craftsman and woodworker, building many things in his shop. He loved motorcycles, and he and his wife rode together and toured from Canada to the Mexican border together.

Services are private. Burial will be in the Fawn Grove Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Carolyn Rollins Comer; one daughter, Susan Lynn Comer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
