Wayne Spencer passed away on February 1, 2021 at age 84. The Funeral Service, conducted by Elder Steve Spencer and Brother Rob Long, is 12 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service at noon. Howard Wayne Spencer was born in Nashville TN to Ruby Estelle Davis and Lonnie Ernie Spencer. He enjoyed farming and tinkering on his farm truck. He was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ. Mr. Spencer was a truck driver who drove as a professional and as a volunteer for the Church of Christ Disaster Relief. He is survived by children Jimmy Spencer, Stephen (Debbie) Spencer, and Shelby (Tim) Butler, grandchildren Lori McCollum, Israel Spencer, Elijah Spencer, Candice Spencer, Christopher Shelton, Tyler Shelton, Brandon Shelton, and Kylee Butler, 2 great-grandchildren Bailee and Jonah McCollum, niece Terri Lynn Weekly, and nephew Russ Spencer. He is preceded in death by wife Juanita Spencer, daughter-in-law Teresa Spencer, parents Ernie and Estelle Spencer, brother Lynn Spencer, and sister Phyllis Russell.
