Funeral service for Wayne K. Millwood, 67, of Moulton, will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015, 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Charles William and Neil Carter officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Millwood, who died Friday, February 27, 2015, at his residence was born August 11, 1947, in Lawrence County to John Wesley Millwood and Annie Green Flannigan. He was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber in maintenance. His church affiliation was Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and his hobbies were gardening and college football, specifically “Bama”. Mr Millwood was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Jessica Millwood; brother, Howard Millwood; and sisters, Elizabeth “Libby” Meyers and Margaret Morgan.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Reba Millwood; sons, David Millwood (Irene) and Johnny Millwood (Cathy); daughter, Mary Millwood Dayan (Adam); grandchildren, Erica Millwood, Christian Millwood, and Alexis Millwood; great-grandchild, Alexander David Millwood; brothers, Ray Millwood, Winford Millwood, Windell Millwood, John Millwood, and Steve Millwood; and sister, Teresa Millwood.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
