Funeral service for Wayne Halbrooks, 60, of Hartselle will be Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 11:00AM at Shiloh Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Owens and Joey Coots officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, May 4, 2015 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at Shiloh Baptist Church.
Mr. Halbrooks died May 2, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born December 30, 1954 to James Harris Halbrooks and Lola Brooks Halbrooks.
Wendell Wayne Halbrooks is a faithful and loyal servant to our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. He served the Lord with all diligence as the Elder of Membership at Shiloh Baptist Church in Somerville, Alabama. He is the devoted husband of forty-one years to his beloved Loretta Lemmond Halbrooks and the dedicated father to three daughters and a wonderful example of a father and husband to three son-in-laws. He is an adored grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harris and Lola Halbrooks.
