Wayne Casteel – Obituary

Wayne Casteel was born in Savannah, Tennessee on July 18, 1940 the son of the late Lois Casteel and Velma Clement Casteel Barlow.

Mr. Casteel served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a supervisor for Tennessee Department of Transportation and also had worked for King Norman Incorporated in Corinth, Mississippi. Mr. Casteel was a very hardworking man and he enjoyed his job. He was a member of Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church.

Mr. Casteel departed this life on August 28, 2016 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 1 month and 10 days.

He is survived by his children, Rita Stephens and her husband Tony, Johnny Casteel, and Kathy Davis and her husband Richard, all of Savannah, Tennessee.

three grandchildren, Bambi Michelle Byrd, Phillip Droke and Dillon Casteel

one sister, Frankie Linville of Olive Hill, Tennessee and two brothers, Wheeler Ray Casteel of Lavina, Tennessee and Ricky Vance Casteel of Lexington, Tennessee

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ellen Wolfe and two brothers, Hadron and Hassell Casteel.
Memorial donations may be made to Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church.
