Wayne Brand, 59, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Indiana and worked as a mechanic for the City of Red Bay for twenty-eight years.
Services will be Saturday, September 28, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Thomas Kelton officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife – Sue Brand, Red Bay, AL; his mother – Ivylene Brand, Red Bay, AL; seven children – Jennifer Garrett (Robert) Red Bay, AL, David Brand (April), Golden, MS, Tanya Raper (Josh) Vina, AL, Bill Carter, Red Bay, AL, Diana Brand, Belmont, MS, Steven Vinson (Lindsey), Muscle Shoals, AL and Keith Vinson (Terica) Muscle Shoals, AL; two sisters – Lesa Warren (Rocky) and Martha Brand, both of Red Bay, AL; eighteen grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father – Tracy S. Brand and a brother, Stevie.
Pallbearers will be Josh Raper, Walter Allen Lambert, Eddie Deaton, Zach Garrett, James Vinson and D.J. Hone.
Honorary pallbearer will be Mike Boyd.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 28, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
