A Celebration of Life Service for Wayne Allen, 92 of Counce, TN, will be Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – South Chapel on Hwy 45 South with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Rev. Paul Childers will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Mr. Allen departed from this life Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born June 24, 1932 in Corinth, Ms to James Wallace Allen and Lena Lawson Allen Smith. Wayne retired from PCA Counce Mill after 23 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church in Counce, TN. He loved listening to bluegrass music, traveling and watching sports, especially Ole MS football. Wayne is survived by his daughters, Wanda Jo Roberts and Judy Lynn Bishop; three granddaughters, Delaina Meadows (David), Jana Harville (David) and Beth Smith (Jonathan); two great granddaughters, Anna Harbin, Leia Meadows; three great grandsons, Joseph Mitchell, Jacob Meadows and Dalton Harville; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Elaine Allen; father, Wallace Allen; his mother, Lena Lawson Allen Smith; his brothers, Clarence Ray; Earle Ray and Howard Latch and his sister, Marie Newton. Pallbearers will be David Meadows, Jacob Meadows, Joseph Mitchell, Jonathan Smith, David Harville and Robert Davis. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Wayne Allen.
