Waymon Louis Gray, 96, of Florence, passed away on December 6, 2024 at his residence. He retired as the owner of Concrete Equipment Company, Set-A-Steps Company, and Gray’s Tackle Shop. He was a member of First Baptist Church-Killen and a veteran of the Korean War.
A visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. David McKelvey and David Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Beatrice Gray; parents, John Taylor and Omie Gertis Hill Gray; brothers, Harvil Gray (Helen) and Jimmy Gray (Carolyn); and sisters, Margaret Wilson (A.D.), Jewel Craig (Jim), Joy Phelps, and Sharon Wilson (Luke).
He is survived by son, Danny Waymon Gray; daughter, Shelia Diane Gray Stanford; grandchildren, Ryan Gray (Beth), Lance Gray (Jessica), and Shelby Logue; great grandchildren, Brita and Lena Gray; brother-in-law, Ray Olive (JoAnn); and a host of nieces and nephews.
