Ward Ray Pemberton, age 92, of Tullahoma, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Ray was born to Robert James and Maebelle Pemberton on August 14, 1931, in Olney, Texas. Ray attended school in Olney, Texas and graduated from Midwestern University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He Married Herma Lowry on May 6, 1953, in Henrietta, Texas.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Wilburn, Leon, and Jimmy Pemberton; two sisters, Ruth Simmons and Iola Goria.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of seventy years, Herma Pemberton; sister, Bobbie Price of Conrae, Texas; brother, R.J. Pemberton of Topeka, Texas; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Ray was a sales rep- with American Cyanamid and retired in 1992.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Watson Funeral Home.
