Ward Eugene "Jimmy" Bailey Ward Eugene “Jimmy” Bailey, 82, of Tishomingo, Mississippi, died on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in his home. Jimmy owned and operated his own logging business, W.E. Bailey Logging. He was a member of Burgess Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed attending when he could. In his free time, Jimmy liked to watch wrestling, go hunting, and work in his garden. His garden was always plentiful, and he loved being able to provide for his family by cooking and canning what he could. He was the world’s biggest basketball fan, at least when it came to watching his granddaughter Clara play. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and there was nothing he loved more than spending time with them. Jimmy is survived by his children, Renee Ragsdale (Jeremiah), Susan McNutt (Joey), and Regetta Garland; his grandchildren, Hope Newcomb (Daniel), Tanner Garland, Trevor Garland, and Clara Garland; his great-grandchildren, Ella Newcomb and Rayker Newcomb; and his siblings, Carolyn McVay and Lynell Bailey. He was preceded in death by beloved wife, Stella Ann Bailey; his parents, Orville and Stella Mae Bailey; his brothers, Bobby and Billy C. Bailey; and his great-grandson, Braxton Newcomb. Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS, is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Dwight South. Pallbearers will be James White, Trevor Garland, Jeremiah Ragsdale, Joey McNutt, Daniel Newcomb, and Jeff Holt. Honorary pallbearers include Chris Borden, Heath Borden, Tanner Garland, Jolene Browning, and Mike Butler. Interment will be in South Crossroads Cemetery.
