On January 2, 2014 there was a homicide at 17 Gullion Road in Morgan County. The victim is Jonathan Bowling, 37 years old, white male. The suspect in the homicide of Jonathan Bowling is Cody Lee Compton- 21 year old white male. Compton’s address was last listed as 1536 Pine Ridge Rd. In Union Grove, Morgan County, Alabama. Compton is believed to be armed and dangerous. He was last seen in a 2000- 4 door, Honda Civic – dark purple in color – Tag # 50D19R4. He is believed to be traveling with Amanda Nichols. She is also wanted for questioning as a witness to the murder. A felony warrant for murder is being obtained for the death of Jonathan Bowling at this time. Bond has not yet been set.
