Wanda Warmack McGatha, age 72 of Piedmont, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Riverview Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Vivian Dempsey Warmack; and granddaughter, Hanah Watson.
Wanda is survived by her husband, J.C. McGatha; daughters, Kim Watson, Dawn White (Brian), and Gabriel Peardon (Jamey); grandchildren, Codey Watson, Dylan Watson, Shelby Webster (Travis), Levi Peardon, and Katelyn White; great grandchildren, Grayson Sylvester, Collin Watson, Kash Watson, and Jace Watson; sisters, Denise Fortenberry (Gary), Karen Warmack, Becky Warmack, and Lesa Hightower (Tim); and several nieces and nephews.
Wanda was a loving wife, mother and sister. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Chapel at Cremation Services of East Alabama, 733 White Plains Road, Anniston, AL 36207. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service at the Chapel. Burial will be at the Nances Creek Cemetery.
