Wanda "Pumpkin" Winkles CoxWanda “Pumpkin” Winkles Cox, 72, of Toney passed away Monday. She attended Butler High School and worked at Redstone Federal Credit Union. She later co-founded Trav-Ad Signs.

Survivors include her husband, of 55 years, Roy H. Cox; daughters, Karen Nabors (Jerry) and Sandi Singletary (Jim); sisters, Angie Busam and Donna Kelley; grandchildren she adored, Autumn Poole, Miranda Nabors, McKenzie Singletary, and Ella Singletary; and great-grandson, Ian Poole. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Helen Winkles, and brothers, Roger Winkles and Buddy Winkles.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, May 28th at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel with Bert Peake officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
