Mrs. Wanda "Louise" Phillips Dean Mrs. Wanda “Louise” Phillips Dean, age 81, passed away, on Friday, October 18, 2024.

She leaves behind her sweetheart of 63 years, “Bob”, Robert Jerry Dean. She loved her church and especially the other women in her Sunday School class. Her entire life was spent taking care of others. Her gift of loving her family and friends with unconditional love was in everything she did.

Her determination to raise her two daughters, Tina (Brian) Everett and Melinda (Bobby) Gilbert, to love in the same way, was her ultimate goal. She cherished those memories. But her treasure was in her 3 grandchildren; that loved their Gran-Gran, Erin Gilbert (Justin Rogenski), John and Kayla Ramirez Keller, Andrew Gilbert (Morgan Lang). She had a soft heart for two others, that came to know her as a special Gran-Gran to them, Andrew Green and Angel Hough; her sister, Brenda Lusk, was always there for her to depend on; her brother, Thomas Phillips always brought a smile to her face and joy to her heart; she also leaves behind her uncle, Jack Reed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William T. Phillips and Sybil Reed Phillips; her big brother, William Eugene “Buster” Phillips; brother-in-law, Larry Lusk and sister-in-law, Margaret Phillips.

Visitation is set for Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. It will be held at her childhood home place located on county road 21 and 105 Tupelo Pike. A private service will be held afterwards. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to a charity dear to your heart in honor of our mother. The family thanks you for all of the thoughts, prayers and messages. May the Lord bless you. It is Well.
