Wanda Gerlinde Bryan, 67, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 13, 2023. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family and friends. She was born December 4, 1955, to John and Güdren Alexander in a United States Army Hospital in Neubrücke, Germany. Although she moved around a lot as her father served in the military, she spent most of her life residing in the Saltillo area. She retired as an Audit Team Leader after a long career at Sam’s Club. Wanda was a founding member of Parkside Baptist Church, and followed her long-time pastor, Bro. Frank Breaux, to Bethany Baptist Church, where she has been a faithful and active member. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening, attending baseball games, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed a strong cup of coffee and a good conversation. She always kept a smile on her face, never losing her sense of humor even during her most difficult times.
Survivors include one daughter, Nickole Stafford of Saltillo; one son, John Orman and his wife, Kayla, of Guntown; two granddaughters, Katlynn Orman and Annika Stafford; two grandsons, Alex Orman and Will Burns; two brothers, Pete Alexander and his wife, Melissa, of Caledonia, and James Alexander and his wife, Jeanna, of Columbus; close friends, Pat Swords, Donna Baker; and many other friends and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William Bryan.
Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Pegues, Saltillo.
