Wanda Fay Warren – Obituary

Wanda Fay Warren, 79, of Florence, passed away on December 04, 2018 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital after a brief and brave battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.  She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. She loved to read, travel, cook, and garden with flowers and vegetables. Wanda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 06, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 07, 2018 at Mt. Zion Church of Christ.  Officiating will be Brad McKinnon and Jeff Stutts. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Martha Narmore; husband, W.L. “Buddy” Warren and step-father, Reggie Pearson.

Survivors include her sons, John Eric Warren and William Jeffery Warren (Donna) all of Florence; sister, Martha Gail Lester; brother-in-law, Jerry Warren (Nell); sisters-in-law, Clara McClure (Bob), Martha Heupel and Linda Pace; granddaughter, Anna Rae Warren; special friend, Junior Joiner; and special aunts, Pauline Edens and Peggy Thompson (Bobby).

Serving as pallbearers will be Barry McClure, Doug Hill, Steve Watkins, Justin Goad, Spencer Warren and Darrell Lester.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses in ICU and Palliative Care at ECM Hospital.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
